A nostalgic journey in southern Tasmania
Pen Tayler punches above her weight on the age-to-accomplishment scale, but that doesn’t stop her wanting to punch harder. Which is why she decided to add to a quiver already crowded with photography and writing credits by studying the finer points of the art of videography.
The result is something to luxuriate in, like soaking in a warm mountain pool filled with Tasmanian-ness.
Pen Tayler is a Tasmanian writer, photographer and videogapher. She photographed the two volumes of Towns of Tasmania, written by Bert Spinks, and wrote and photographed Hop Kilns of Tasmania (all published by Forty South). She has also written a book about Prospect House and Belmont House in the Coal River Valley.
