TASMANIAN LENS: Footy training

photographer BILL KUYS

Robyn and Bill Kuys live in Emerald, Victoria, amidst the beauty of the Dandenong Ranges, but spend large chunks of time in the beauty of Tasmania. They visit often, and Robyn says she leaves a little of her heart behind each time she returns home.

When on the big island, she visits Tasmania in spirit through Forty South, to which she is a regular contributor of photography and Letters to the Editor.

When it was announced that a Tasmanian team had been given a green (and gold and red) light to play in the AFL, Robyn celebrated by buying a guernsey. She then lent her husband her camera and stationed herself in front of Puffing Billy, which puffs its way daily past the back fence of her home.

Onya Robyn. Go Tassie!
